Our Third Week of Wall Building The Project: A 2,163 square foot house utilizing dry stack concrete block construction with a central courtyard and based on the Spanish colonial-era missions in San Antonio. | These windows will be over the kitchen sink, looking out towards the water and the driveway. Notice the lintel over the window runs into the end of a glued into place quarter block laying on its side. Jigsaw and crossword puzzle fans will do very well with this construction method. | ![]() |

| Most of this week is taken up with fitting windows into place and then leveling all the blocks around them. Here, we have two half-moon windows (we got a set of three) which are in the southwest corner in the master bedroom. | ![]() |
