Ed Kliman is available as a solo or with a backing band of variable size. Current passport for festivals and tours outside the USA.
During performances, Ed draws on his own catalog of songs as well as literally hundreds of songs from the last 75 years of popular music. He routinely does songs by artists like Billie Holliday, George Jones, Muddy Waters and Hank Williams, giving them his own interpretation.
A self-described "blue collar working musician," Ed writes/performs music and does voiceovers for theatrical and video productions. He also regularly works pit orchestra and sideman work for touring artists, theatrical productions and events.
Technical requirements: For solo appearances, two boom stands with a quality vocal mic (at least a Shure 57 or 58) and a quality acoustic instrument mic (at least a Shure 58). We do not use piezo pickups or plug directly into anything so don't ask. Please e-mail for tech requirements for appearances with a backing band.
