Music Ed Kliman Ed Kliman's amazing output of recorded music runs the gamut from folk to funk, blues to baroque, country to cumbia and ragtime to reggae in a professional recording career that stretches back to the 1970s. Besides the music created for his solo career and the bands he has played with, his work incorporating contemporary music in Shakespeare productions for professional theatrical companies in the US and Europe is substantial enough for an entire second career as a writer and recording artist. His theatrical CD releases include cast albums for Shakespeare's "As You Like It," "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams and as an orchestra member for the original cast album of "The Secret Lives Of The In-Betweeners" by Travis Brown. Two men carrying the torch for, and adding to, the traditional piano-based rhythm and blues music of New Orleans. Soulful vocals, muscular rhythms that will not be denied and some great harmonica work are the benchmarks of this group's work. Bookings, music and more can be found here and here.
